When you're a kid, riding a bike is the ultimate form of freedom. The Makena is the perfect starter bike for your little cyclist. This kid-friendly frame features 20" wheels with chubby 2.6" tires for excellent traction, a 28-tooth chainring and low standover make it friendly for the littles, while a 1x drivetrain allows for single-handed shifting and make it an awesome first "real" bike.

The 24" Hula is designed for the kid that's a bit too tall for the 20" Makena, is quickly progressing their skills and is moving up in the neighborhood shred ranks. Running 2.6" tires ensures maximum traction. The wheels are laced to QR hubs for ease of use. A 1x drivetrain for simple shifting, a 28-tooth chainring for easy pedaling, and kid-friendly geometry make the Hula the perfect bike to grow up with.

The Honzo 20 is for the mini ripper who has no problem keeping up with the older sibling and needs a bike that rides hard too! The Honzo 20 fits 20 x 2.6" tires, making it easier to roll over obstacles on the trail. QR hubs keep tube swaps easy, and a 60mm fork keeps the ride nice and plush. The Honzo 20 will have your grom taking over the neighborhood in no time!

When we made the Honzo, we knew this would be a bike people would want to ride forever. Since we all grow out of kids' bikes, we figured we'd make a kids' Honzo that was as cool as the version their parents ride. It comes with wider kid-friendly 2.6" tires to boost traction and an 80mm fork to provide the perfect amount of squish whether your kid is hitting jumps in the yard or crushing you down the backyard trail.

The kids are alright. Better than alright. In fact, they're so incredibly talented that we had to make a bike to keep up with the insane progression the groms are throwing on the trails these days. The Process 24 pulls cues from the adult-sized bikes and is ready to rip the local singletrack or the bike park's rowdiest lines. The Process 24 features an air-sprung 120mm travel fork and shock and 100mm of rear travel, making it ready for hits, big and small. A 10-speed 1x drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes make for excellent control up and down the hill. The Process 24 is the perfect bike for your future prodigy!

The Kink Carve 16 ensures every age and height rider can find a perfect-fitting Kink bike. Kids are getting into BMX younger and younger, and we love it. The 2021 Carve comes in a great Gloss Digital Teal color complemented by black components throughout. Properly proportioned geometry and components create a modern yet comfortable ride suited for the rider who isn't ready for the bump up to a larger 18-inch bike yet. Still stacked with great parts, the 2021 Carve comes with 7-inch Kink T700 bars, a short reach 40mm Mission topload stem, rock-solid 3-piece tubular Chromoly cranks with sealed Mid bottom bracket, a sealed integrated headset, and modern tread design 2.4" tires.

The Coast is all about inspiring kids to start riding from an early age. Balance bikes, like the Coast, help to teach kids balance and coordination instead of relying on training wheels. What's special about the Coast, is the way it combines features and geometry for children, with that of a BMX bike. The Coast is truly a balance bike designed for working a child's way up to their first BMX bike. Coming in a cool Gloss Digital Blue colorway, the Coast is kitted with some great BMX style parts. The 5-inch tall Kink T500 bars, 12-inch Kink Lance forks, and Mission X7 20-hole rims, all adapt BMX components to the right size and dimensions to comfortably fit a child's needs. The ultra-low standover height allows the seat to be dropped even lower for kids to get rolling as soon as possible. Note: Designed for children ages 2 and up. Simply put, the Kink Roaster is designed to be a kid's first BMX bike. The 12-inch wheel and frame size make it an easy transition from a balance bike and means kids will feel completely comfortable on their first pedaling bike. Once again, this bike isn't simply a bike with 12-inch wheels or merely a miniaturized BMX bike. It factors into account standard BMX geometry and applies them to a younger child's size and needs. The Gloss Digital Red colorway really pops while the bike sports some great components throughout. In addition to the 5-inch Kink T500 bars and 12-inch Kink Lance forks, the Roaster features a coaster brake in lieu of a lever-based brake system, that could be too difficult for some children to use at a young age. The seatstay bridge has been designed to accept a caliper brake or 990 brake plate for those looking to add a lever-style brake as well. Note: Designed for children ages 4 and up. Kids are not only getting into BMX at an earlier age, but they're also progressing even earlier and require a properly fitting bike as they grow. The Pump 14 fits perfectly between 12-inch and 16-inch bikes and is built with proportionate geometry and components suited to this age and height rider. Small details such as the Mission Micro brake lever are considered carefully to ensure everything is of proper fit and function on this bike. The reduced angle of the Weider seat also means kids can sit down and ride comfortably. The Matte Digital Charcoal colorway is a unique but classic color that you really can't go wrong with. Reflective strip tires add a fresh look to the bike with the bonus of some added safety. The new 6-inch rise T600 bars, Lance forks, and Pump frame all feature new geometry tailored just for this 14-inch bike. COMFORT AND STYLE When it comes to bikes, kids just aren't interested unless they're comfortable and stylish. Capri 24 features a riser stem and comfort handlebars, comfort saddle, and a color-matched chain guard.

Every Jamis youth bike uses size-specific items like grips, saddles and cranks that enhance comfort and control by providing the best possible bike fit. We focus on designing frames with low stand-over’s to take much of the awkwardness out of getting on board and dismounting after. We trim as much weight as we can with lightweight aluminum frames on many of the youth models and use aluminum parts where possible (the limiting factor here is working within a youth bike appropriate price point) to work towards that make-it-as-light-as-possible goal.

TOP FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW Our lightweight & durable aluminum Laser frame is easier to pedal than steel. The 20” Laser actually offers two types of brakes: a standard rear coaster brake, which most youngsters are familiar with, and a rear V-brake which many are not. Having the rear coaster brake as a back-up, allows youngsters to get used to hand-braking without going cold-turkey on the coaster brake they are comfortable with. Our alloy rims are anodized black to provide even greater corrosion and rust resistance than the alloy already possesses. Before wheels are laced and trued, the rim sidewalls are ground to provide a smooth braking surface for the rear V-brake. We build the Laser 2.0 wheels with 36 spokes in a 3-cross lacing pattern for a strong & durable wheel.
