16-Inch (3-6 yr. old)

SIDEWALK ADVENTURER Everyone remembers their first bike; the combination of freedom and fun. That bike needs to be fun, comfortable and safe, which is why Laser 16 features a lightweight aluminum frame, removable training wheels, and BMX-style handlebars and saddle. LIGHTWEIGHT ALLOY FRAME Extra weight is the enemy of any bike. This is especially true for youth bikes, when the riders themselves are relatively light-weight. It’s tough to beat the cost-to-weight ratio of aluminum, which is why Laser 16 features a lightweight 6061 aluminum frame. This keeps the overall weight down, making the bike much more fun and easy to ride. TRAINING WHEELS INCLUDED When it comes to learning to ride a bike, building confidence is the name of the game. Laser 16 is equipped with training wheels, so young riders can build that confidence safely. - Lightweight 6061 aluminum MX-moto frame design - Tubular unicrown fork, MX Hi-Ten, straight blades - Electro-plated black steel rims, steel front and Hi-Stop coaster brake rear hubs - CST Dirt Knobbie tires - BMX high-impact resin pedals - Hi-Stop rear coaster brake - BMX style handlebar with a safety bell - Jamis BMX Jr. saddle
TOP FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW - The full-length & full ring-wrap chainguard on Miss Daisy keep clothes & legs cleanly and safely out of the way of the chain. Those attractively painted fenders keep the rain & mud off the bike AND the rider and look cute to boot. - Our soft and comfortable foam grips feature a smooth vinyl cover that is embossed and stitched to match the saddle & decal theme. - Those wide Brooklyn Speedway tires offer a large contact patch for greater stability, with a smooth tread surface for easy rolling, and hold plenty of air volume for a more comfortable ride. - Our pedals offer a non-slip insert that keeps feet and shoes in full contact even when wet for safe & secure pedaling. - Every 16" Miss Daisy offers stabilizing training wheels that assist the young rider in learning how to pedal, steer and balance a bike for the first time. The training wheel support struts attach securely both to the rear hub axle and the frame itself so that the training wheels don't rotate out of a plane with the rear wheel, preventing tips or spills.
OBSESSIVE ABOUT RUST RESISTANCE Most of the parts specified on our Taxi are made of aluminum to save weight, but also to help preserve the finish of the bike. Aluminum parts include the seat post, seat clamp, stem, rims, front hub, kickstand and crank arms. We’ve even specified a specially treated chain on the Taxi that protects the chain against rust in even the harshest conditions. In fact, this coating increases the rust resistance of the chain up to 500 times (!) that of a regular chain. - Lightweight 6061 aluminum diamond frame design - Oversized hi-tensile steel tubular unicrown fork - Alex X303 silver anodized alloy rims with double-sealed Shimano hubs and 12 gauge stainless steel spokes - Taya 410H-GST rustless chain - Forged alloy crank with 44T compact disc chainring - Shimano coaster brake - Jamis custom Cruise-control comfort handlebar - Taxi custom saddle with extra padding, extra-thick vinyl cover, heavy-duty strut rails & double-loop springs

The Garneau F-16 bike offers a few more features for the rider than its little brothers and comes in two colors. Just like the F-12 and the F-14, the F-16 has a high-tensile steel frame, a single speed, and training wheels that can be removed if needed. In addition, the F-16 has both a coaster brake that engages by pressing the pedals backwards, as well as an additional hand brake that starts to prepare your rider for the next level. Using hand brakes to stop will be a whole new skill for your little rider to learn, but having the coaster brake there for backup is always a great option to have. Highly durable and very low maintenance, the F-16 is a great bike for the kid in your life. Kids' bike sizes are based on the child's height, and 16" bikes are typically for kids between the ages of 3-7 or 38"-48" tall.

Introducing the worlds very first freestyle specific frame and fork to an emerging sport is something that we are very proud of, nearly as much as being the leading brand in freestyle 35 years later. Today BMX is not only a sport, it’s a lifestyle. It’s a choice you make to be a part of, a way you choose to express yourself, and it’s the way you find your freedom. Haro builds a broad range of BMX freestyle bikes that help you do just that, from Pro builds all the way down to slightly more affordable yet fully capable machines. We have always had the best professional riders on our bikes which makes for a great research and development team (minus the white lab coats-see Team). The result? See for yourself!

Buying a bike for your child can be daunting—that's why we developed the Zuma range to make it easier. Based on the concept of a kid-sized MTB bike, the Zuma bikes are incredibly lightweight. They feature a carefully researched geometry and are designed specifically around smaller riders as the perfect balance between a bike for a child to learn the basics on and a more advanced MTB for off-road riding conditions and weekend rides with the parents. These carefully spec'd bikes feature a super lightweight alloy frame and fork with double-wall rims and children's-specific aftermarket components from Promax, KMC, FSA, Vee Rubber, and Satori, making them suit the rider's size perfectly while keeping the look, feel, and ride of a high-end, full adult size MTB. Children are the future, and the Zuma line is designed to give them the best possible start for that future.

One of the best kids bikes on the planet. Early Rider’s unique 16” Belt driven kids bike has seen a sizable redesign. The 6061 narrow gauge aluminum tube frame still has a hand brushed, clear coated finish. Geometry changes include a lowered bottom bracket, shortened rear triangle and slackened head tube angle. The freewheel is now on the rear sprocket, which allows the use of a 4 arm spider crank and a splined bottom bracket – thus creating a more robust front end. The new forged aluminum two piece rear drop out allows wheel removal without touching the alignment settings and a more precise way of adjusting the belt. The bike features an 8mm composite belt drive; aluminum wheels with steel spokes; sealed cartridge bearings in the hubs, bottom bracket and pedals; Tektro Mini-V short reach brake levers; a riveted faux leather saddle and 1 1/8” Aheadset. Weight 12lbs
